All groups using the West Midland District Camping Centre must follow their own organisation’s safeguarding procedures and comply with local statutory requirements. Any safeguarding concern arising on site must also be reported to the centre’s safeguarding lead, and where appropriate to the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO). Boys’ Brigade groups must additionally notify BBHQ Safeguarding. This addendum supports, and does not replace, The Boys’ Brigade Safeguarding Policy.
